Why is Mana inflationary?

As the Rift grows and more Mana Crystals are created, the amount of Mana that will be generated every day will grow.

There are a few reasons behind this. First, we envision Mana to be used as a resource, it is intended to be burned or transformed into other objects. Second, since Mana creation is earned through Crystals, each Mana represents new activity by a community member.

Therefore we think a successful Mana experiment is one where Mana users are encouraged to burn Mana, increasing the value of the entire Loot ecosystem, and holding/speculation is discouraged.

Mana is tied to the Rift, but our vision for it is that it will be spent/burned to make stuff. Crystals makes Mana inflationary, so the valuable piece will be the bags and crystals that make Mana, and not the Mana itself
